Hiking in Prescott

So last Saturday we decided that we needed to take a day and just be with each other. We packed our backpacks and a cooler with lunch and drove to Prescott. Ethan was pretty excited and laughed and screamed the whole way there, which was a little over 2 hours. We decided before hand that we were going to go to Lynx Lake for a nice picnic and a hike around the lake. We arrived at Lynx Lake to find out that is was $2 for a parking pass......we only had a dollar in Stew's wallet so we had to dig through the car to find another dollar in change. First we had our lunch, sprayed ourselves with sunscreen and bug repellent and then headed out. We had to take quite a few breaks for Ethan's sake......We had the stroller in the trunk of the car so Ethan walked the whole time. We watched ducks and boats go by in the lake. By a mile or so, Ethan was getting tired so we turned around and went back to the car.

It was so nice to be together. Ethan and I don't get to see Stew very much because of class, homework, or Medical School applications. I hope that we get to do this again very soon!!!!
