A little bit of everything......

So I haven't been on here in a little while. I have been pretty sick and pretty busy. I have had a really bad cough for about a month now and my OB just kept telling me to take OTC medicine to help get rid of it. Well, this past Friday after getting home from work I tried to take a nap, but was too hot. I took my temperature and it said that it was 100.6!!!!!! I hurried and called my OB office and left a message with the answering service, who said that they would page the doctor on call. By the time I finally talked to the doctor on call, my temperature was 101.6. She told me to go to the ER since I am considered a "High-Risk" pregnancy. We got down there around 5pm and was actually admitted right away. I was in OB Triage for about 45 minutes (give or take)......They wanted to monitor Ryan to make sure she was okay. I was then taken back down to the ED (emergency department) and after giving my information again, I was told to sit in the waiting area. To make a long story short, I had to have a chest x-ray, have blood drawn twice (about eight vials total), have 2 liters of IV pumped through my body, and have an antibiotic pumped through the IV also......We were down there for about 5 hours total!! I was told that I have Bacterial Pneumonia!!! Who knows how long I have had it, since my OB never checked for it. I am on antibiotics that I have to take 3 times a day for 10 days. Hopefully I will start feeling better soon.

I am now 29 weeks along. I can't believe that I only have 11 weeks left!! I am so excited to see my little princess. Ryan is moving around like crazy. My last appointment, a week ago, we were told that Ryan was measuring at about 2lbs 7oz......I am so glad that she is growing okay. They said that she was about a week bigger than she should normally be. Hopefully she doesn't come a week early. I am supposed to have another appointment next Monday and then by the end of the month I should be having another ultrasound.

Other news is that we are starting to get our stuff packed for our trip to TN to start Medical School. We have 49 more days here!!!! CRAZY!! We are starting to look for places again to live in TN. Hopefully we will be able to find a place and get it secured so when we get there we have a place to call home for 2 years or more. We have a plan on where we are wanting to stop and such while we are driving out there. We are going to be taking 4 days and driving about 7-8 hours each day......well more than that just because we have to stop every 2 hours to let me walk around. We are SO excited to finally be starting this chapter of our lives. I couldn't be more happier and more proud of Stewart than I have been for the past 3 1/2 years we have been together. He is such a hard worker and anything he sets his mind to, he does!!!! I love you so much Stewart!!!!
