Early Valentine's Date

So last night Stew and I went on an early Valentine's date. He has to work evenings tonight, Friday, and Saturday. We decided that this year we weren't going to get each other anything because we just can't afford it. One of the perks about Stew working at Costco is he is able to see when stuff gets marked down. They accidentally marked down "Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games" (we have been wanting this) so Stew bought it and said that it could be our gift to each other. We didn't get to start out our date night at the time we had planned. Cindy's train was stopped at one of the stations. We had planned on going to dinner and then seeing our movie at 7:25...... We didn't even leave the house until after 6:30......
Since we couldn't really afford anything expensive for dinner we went to Boston Pizza. We got out of the restaurant a little after 7:25, but we really like watching the previews so we didn't go to the movies until 9:50. In the meantime, we went and bought our tickets and then drove over to the Ford dealership to look at a few SUVs. We test drove the Ford Escape and then looked inside the Ford Flex (we will test drive that one later). Then we went to Chapters and walked around and looked at some stuff. We both have a hard time going into a bookstore and walk out empty handed. We still had some time to kill so we went to Safeway and got some dessert. We were a half hour early for our movie, which was "When in Rome"...... not what I expected, but I was grateful I was able to spend time with Stew!
Ryan woke up when we got home and Ethan peed his bed...... Oh the joys of motherhood!

I love you Stew!
