Friday, April 23rd Ethan, Ryan, and I flew out to Phoenix, AZ to surprise Wendi and Daniel for their wedding on April 24th (Daniel knew that we were coming, but Wendi didn't!!!). We were at the airport at 4:15am and were in Phoenix by 1pm! What a long day that was. As soon as we got there and surprised Wendi, I tried to help decorate as much as I could. We went to bed pretty late that night...... what a long day it was!
More hugs and crying...... Daniel took Ryan from me so we could hug each other a little better!
Giving Wendi tons of hugs and bawling our eyes out...... We hadn't seen each other in a year!!!

Saturday was such a great day! I got up and got myself ready, then I did Wendi's makeup, my Mom's hair and makeup, and then I did my sister Melanie's makeup and fixed a few spots in her hair. The sealing was beautiful. I wish I could have been outside of the Temple to see them come out, but my Dad and I had to run back to the house to get the kids. After we got there we got lots of pictures, went to a luncheon hosted by Daniel's family, and then went home to relax before the reception started. Here are a few pics from after the wedding......
Nikayla, Melanie, Wendi, Daniel, and me
Me and my kiddos, my parents, and my siblings...along with my new brother-in-law Daniel
The reception was fun! I got to see friends and family I hadn't seen in over a year! I took the kids home early, called Stew, and then put the kiddos to bed. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday we didn't really do anything......just hung out. I did go to Target on Tuesday because I hadn't been to one in SO long. Early Wednesday morning we got up, got ready, and then left for the airport. What a PAIN that was. I had 45 minutes before our plane took off by the time we got to our gate (and we were over 2 hours early to the airport!!!)!!!! After a long day of being in 2 planes and threats of the possibility of not being able to land in Calgary...... We finally made it home! We didn't have any problems at Customs and we were greeted by Stew! Boy was I glad to see him!

I'm so glad you were able to come and that you were able to bring the kiddos! It was great to have you here. Thanks for making the trek here. Love ya!!
The Bride's hair and make up are so pretty! Good job!!
P.S. Your blog is way cute.
Thanks Chaz......unfortunately I can't take credit for the bride's hair...just the makeup. Now my Mom's hair and makeup and my sister Melanie's (in the big family picture, she is standing next to me) makeup and a fix of the hair I can take credit for.
I just changed and added some things a few days ago to my blog. I really like it. I will be changing it again though. I always change it for holidays!
