It is hard to think of it as your birthday when it feels like any other day. No cards in the mail, no presents (well I am getting a gift from Cindy, but we are going to wait until Stew gets home from work before I open it), no birthday calls from family (take that back...... I received 1 phone call and that was from one of my AWESOME sister-in-law's Lynette and her 2 adorable girls)...... To me, giving birthday wishes on Facebook and other such websites, just is not the same as an actual phone call or and actual card. Maybe I am just old-fashioned...... Today has just been boring and hasn't felt at all like a birthday.
Saturday we are planning on going to the Calgary Zoo (if the weather is nice anyway...... It shows rain for that day)...... I guess if the weather is bad we will try to figure something else out!

I'm sorry that your birthday wasn't great. I wish that I didn't have to work today so that we could do all the exciting birthday celebrations. Don't get too depressed because when we celebrate it on Saturday it'll be fun. I agree with you though, birthday wishes on Facebook are tacky. Its okay from someone you haven't seen since high school but family should pick up the phone and let you know they love you. I wish they would have...
