So I have been a slacker when it comes to blogging. I have like a million other things to do and blogging just isn't on the top of my list...... but the kids are playing and Stew is still asleep so I can't finish unpacking just yet...... So I figured I should update the blog with a long post. Are you excited?? You know you are!!! :-D
--July 3rd-- Stewart left for the States to pick up the moving truck and left me and the kids in Calgary to finish packing and moving stuff outside to the garage. I was actually able to finish it all up that day...... I did forget to finish packing Ethan's bag that he was taking on the drive and got that done the day before they left! Whoops...
--July 4th-- Our last Sunday in Calgary 3rd Ward. Ryan was really bad at church. Ethan REALLY wanted to bear his testimony so Grandma helped him. He was SO cute! Thanks Mom for helping him when I couldn't.
--July 5th-- Got my hair cut. I got an A-line bob with bangs. I haven't had this short of bangs in a LONG time. Stewart got home from his trip. Nothing really exciting happened this day.
--July 6th-- We packed up the truck. We had one guy come and help us and we got done within 45 minutes. A few of Stew's friends from work came over and visited with him for a while. Then we got ready and went out to get Chinese food for supper...... Oh how I miss Ginger Beef...
--July 7th-- Stew and Ethan left very early in the morning... 5am!!! We adults all cried, Cindy went to get ready for work, and Ryan and I fell asleep for a few more hours. Once Cindy got home from work, we went and looked at show homes.
--July 8th-- Nothing exciting at all this whole day!
--July 9th-- Cindy had a doctor's appointment and we decided to go with her. She dropped us off at the mall, went to her appointment, and then we went and looked at some furniture. She was wanting to get herself a new sofa and wanted to show me the ones she really liked. We rented "All About Steve"...... such a stupid movie!
--July 10th-- We went to the Calgary Stampede! We had lots of fun looking at stuff and tasting some super yummy, so-not-good-for-you food! We watched a show called ACRODUNKS. They were awesome! Cindy had to help at a wedding and when she got home we went to bed since we had to wake up super early the next day.
--July 11th-- Set my alarm for 3:45am and didn't hear it until 4:15am. We were leaving around 4:45am to go to the airport so I had to hurry to get everything finished. Ryan and I had no problems at the border, our first flight was 30 minutes late taking off, Ryan slept a little on the flight. We got to Chicago and had to try to get something to eat plus use the bathroom and change Ryan's diaper......and find our gate. We got there with 30 minutes to spare!! We got into Cleveland and I was OH-So excited to hand Ryan over to Stew. Ryan was AWFUL on our second flight. Good thing it was only 50 minutes long! We got some supper at Red Robin and then went home! It sure was good to just be here!
--July 12th-17th-- Lots of unpacking, organizing, and cleaning going on. Also, buying a couch and love seat, a table and chairs, drawers for the kids's clothes, groceries, and most importantly... Our brand new 2011 black Kia Sorento!!! We picked it up Thursday night! It is awesome!!! Definitely my favorite car that we have ever had since we have been married!
--July 18th-- Our first Sunday in our new ward. Ethan had a bit of a freak-out episode when he had to go to primary. He is NEVER like this so it was quite strange. We met some many people and I only remember one girl's name!
--July 19th-- We went to the Cleveland Zoo. It is FREE on Mondays if you are a resident in Cuyahoga County. We brought a utility bill and all of us got in! It is cheap to begin with, but now we are just going to go on a Monday instead of paying for tickets or a season pass!
--July 20th-- Ethan and I went on a date. We went and looked at toys for 45 minutes and then he was my big helper and came grocery shopping with me. Once we got home and had some lunch I finished the kids's room...... Everything has been put away and has been cleaned!
--July 21st (yesterday)-- We ran a bunch of errands and were gone for pretty much the whole day. No unpacking was done yesterday!
--July 22nd-- We are planning on getting everything finished today so we can finally enjoy a clean home! I would also like to do some sewing and relaxing tonight without having to worry about unpacking again this weekend!
See...... I told you that you would be excited! Until next time...
