So I decided that this year I am going to stick to the majority of my New Year's Resolutions. Most years I quit my list because of lack of motivation or other things. Here are my New Year's Resolutions:
1) Get Fit and Eat Healthier! Now that my knee is feeling better I am going to start P90X again... from the very beginning. My mother-in-law makes some amazing food, so instead of eating a ton of the stuff she makes I will have a healthy portion...... if it is treats, I will have a bite or two.
2) Read Church Material Every Day! I am going to try to read the Book or Mormon twice a year...... but not just read it. I want to really study the scriptures. I am going to start the day of General Conference in April and hopefully end by General Conference in October. In the meantime I will read the Ensign each month and highlight and take notes of things that stand out to me.
3) Become A Better Wife and Mother To My Family! Last year was a pretty hard year on my husband, kids and I. I am still having a hard time with not being in KY, but I know that going to OH will be really good for us. I am looking forward to starting somewhere fresh... where no one knows me and will get to know me for who I really am. I am also going to make sure I do a sufficient amount of work around the house as well as take care of Stew, Ethan, and Ryan.
4) Becoming More Motivated and Organized! So far I have had a tough time with this. Some days I am not motivated to do anything but play with the kids and watch a movie with them. I really want to wake up at the same time everyday (even Saturdays and Sundays) and have a scheduled planned out for the day (for the chores I need to do that day)...... Maybe having a list in front of me will motivate me more. Certain days will have certain chores that need to be done (ex: every Monday-- Bathroom cleaning; Tuesdays-- Bedrooms; etc......Some things that will be done every day are the Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living Room)
Those are a few of my resolutions. I hope I will be able to keep them this year. I didn't do too many to where I would feel overwhelmed.
What are your resolutions??
