Oh, Motherhood...... Why So Harsh!?!

Being a mom has been really hard on me the past couple weeks. We have all gotten a cold, but it has been hard with Ryan since we can't give her anything. I feel like a mean mommy every time I have had to use the "snot sucker" 6 times or more a day because she has snot running into her mouth. I don't think I have ever heard her scream like that since she has been born.

Yesterday and this morning have not been fun. Ryan is getting some teeth so she really doesn't have much of an appetite. She has now learned how to make the raspberry sound and ends up spitting most of her food out. She also hasn't been eating a lot of her bottles when we try to feed her. Very frustrating in the middle of the night when I know she is hungry. When I got home from picking Stew up from work around 12:15am, Ryan was awake...... So naturally I tried to feed her since her last feeding was around 7:30pm. Out of a 7oz bottle she had about 3.5-4oz. I finally got to bed around 12:45am or so and then at 4:15am she was screaming. I got up to feed her and while I was feeding her, she had an explosive diaper. Almost came out both side and the front......It did come out of the back though. YUCK!

So I change her, try to finish feeding her and go to lay her back down and what does she do...AGAIN! With in 10 minutes she had another explosive diaper...not as bad as the first one, but still gross. I change her, throw the diapers outside and go back to bed. She talked to herself and called out "Dada" until 7am. I think total I got around 4.5-5 hours of sleep.

Hopefully she will take a nice long nap today cause I really need one today!

Ethan has been okay. He still gets mad at us when we ask him to go use the potty though so that is a little stressful... not getting angry when he starts to cry. UGH!
